  • This job improved my communication and troubleshooting skills. I have learned how to work in a team, thus increased my boundary of friendship to different nationalities and culture.   I also learned a lot about QUT – its management, faculties, and policies. The most important thing about the work lies in its nature –helping students. At the end of my shift, I feel happy for being able to help the needy students, especially international students.

Job Description

Action Research is a systematic collection of data to answer a research question for improvement. Action research is a professional development geared towards a social practice.

The main objectives of the workshop are to
equip the teachers of Paro Valley with skills and knowledge to conduct an educational action research

identify issues in their respective schools/classrooms which can be tackled by doing action research

Online Learning and Teaching System (OLTS)

 
 Brief Description
Online Learning and Teaching System (OLTS) is a web based teaching learning tool. The OLTS is designed to facilitate teaching-learning activities by shortening the gap between the learner and the tutor. It makes simpler and effective for both the administrator, at various levels (such as module coordinator, dept head, course coordinator), and the learner to perform or assign a task.  

Objectives
The main objectives of the programme are
equip the college with OLTS (new technology for the college)
familiarize faculty members with OLTS
Make work easier for learners and administrators and tutors by shortening the gap between them.
appreciate the use of Information Technology in teaching
